Before Friday’s Prayer, We had lunch at Restaurant Sasa, Located at Kompleks Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang. Quite a big place, you won’t miss this place if you drive through the main road. This Restaurant serves variety of foods, so much that won’t know how to choose. Today will skip Nasi Campur and planned to savour ourselves with Nasi Beriyani with Mutton instead
It’s amazing how people travel for food. Sometimes, I even went all the way to different state or cross border to Singapore just to quell that crave for Nasi Beriyani. I do have my favourite place like Arab Street in Singapore or Nasi Beriyani Gam in JB, but this time we cover at Pasir Gudang Area.

Just imagine this tempting nasi beriyani with a delicate flavoursome taste that only calls for a nice firm of bite. I was entice the moment I put the rice into my mouth..fragrant, light, fluffy, with nuances of spices, herbs and condiment. It’s tasted just right, not too strong of saffron and pair with a good sized piece of tender mutton braised in and all tasty kurma spices. Fastasticto….
It goes with Dalca with decent amount of vege, Pineapple Patcheri “ Paceri nenas” and some keropok. Pineapple Patcheri is cuisines that gives a sweet taste to the rice and add more flavors to this delightful dish.

Nevertheless, this still not be the best nasi Beriyani I’d tasted before…but probably among the best in Pasir Gudang area. If you drop by to Pasir Gudang, do try during lunch hour at this restaurant, probably serve only on Friday.
